Project Details

Restoration and rehabilitation of the historic New Orleans Lakefront Airport Terminal Building, originally constructed in the 1930s. The project restored the building’s original Art Deco character following extensive damage from Hurricane Katrina. Work included complete interior finish restoration, structural repairs, major exterior repairs, and removal of concrete panel cladding that had concealed portions of the historic façade. RCLA’s services included architectural and engineering design, FEMA damage assessment, scope-of-work development, cost estimating, and construction administration.
